Support Strange Matter

Man, this book series was very underrated and had lots of potential. What I loved about these books is how they were like Goosebumps only with a Scifi X-Files feel to it.

The whole summary of this series, involved the kids who lived in a town called Fairfield encounter all sorts of paranormal activity in their town. I became really involved with these books in the late 90's, and ever since then they became such a cult classic to me. Unfortunately, the bookstores started to discontinue them latter on before I could collect them all which was a shame. What was also cool about these books were the CG rendered cover art of each book. I can't tell you much how awestruck I was with their great art covers. They also had a mini-series called Stange Forces which were more thicker and novel like compared to the regular books. Latter on, the Strange Matter books started to change their pace and tone from Scifi Horror to Scifi Action. The new gritty Scifi action animation-like book covers of the latter ones were also very impressive and looked like they could've had the same Scifi action vibe as Titan AE, The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest, Invasion America, and other cartoons in that genre. Anyway, I hope this brought you back memories of the Strange Matter series or intruduce you to it as a first timer. I also hope a movement or campaign can be started to bring these books back.
